Ashwat Prasanna
Community
Through my personal journey, I have found profound joy in merging my passion for STEM and innovation to effect positive change and enrich the lives of those around me. Whether through my projects or by simply offering a helping hand, I endeavor to leave a meaningful impact and cultivate a culture of giving back. Empowering the next generation of students to embrace the significance of STEM is a cause close to my heart, and I am dedicated to fostering this appreciation in all that I do.

Project EyeSight
I regularly volunteer at the Premanjali Foundation (for Visually Impaired Students) in Bangalore, helping teach digital literacy and foster an essential career skill while sharing a love for STEM and technology. I am also working on applying computer vision technologies in low-cost glasses to help visually impaired users navigate, for which the users at the Premanjali foundation provide essential user feedback.
Epsilon Math
Founder: National-level Math Olympiad for Charity
I founded the Epsilon Math Circle in collaboration with three other students. Together, we hosted a large online math tournament for high school students across India, while raising money for charity.
Through the tournaments we run, we raise money to help feed underprivileged students in India (currently at 4500 meals).
This tournament gave students an opportunity to expose themselves to higher-level math and explore unique concepts. In today's world, creativity and logical thinking are necessities, which students had the opportunity to develop through this challenge.

Slum Management
Sustainable Waste Management for Slums
I worked with a team of four other highly motivated students to design a sustainable waste-management solution for a slum near our school. We consulted the community's inhabitants and their perspectives to design a t.
We designed a lightweight mobile app they could access, which connected them efficiently with waste disposal services (which provided a monetary incentive).
Bose Communications
Editor: International High-school Research Journal
I founded the Math Club at my High School, which brings together a community of motivated students interested in furthering research and immersing themselves in advanced mathematics.
Through this initiative, we founded Bose Communications (I am an editor and contributor), a research journal featuring cutting-edge advancements in scientific, computational, and mathematical knowledge.
As a result, we are able to curate and present breakthroughs in STEM from across the world, ranging from original research articles, supplemental essays, and articles from reputed institutions such as the Harvard Medical School and NASA Marshall Space Flight Centre.
