Ashwat Prasanna
Hello_world
I am Ashwat Prasanna, a student researcher with a wide spectrum of interests. I love mathematics (especially the theoretical side), but also computer science and AI. I especially love seeing how the two fields intersect in practical engineering solutions. Over the years, I've won a few awards and also gotten my hands dirty by practically exploring these concepts with projects aimed at making the world a better place (always learning something along the way). I'm also an advancing blue belt in Karate, have created 30+ novel paper airplane designs, and absolutely love silly puns (e.g. what do you call a pessimistic mathematician? A (k)not-theorist)!
Projects
My passion for innovation and research has led me to work on a diverse range of projects. From investigating the Collatz Conjecture to developing AI-powered glasses (applied for patent) for the visually impaired to custom-built 3D printers, each project has been unique and rewarding in its own way. I believe that every project provides me with an opportunity to learn and grow. I also believe technology is something we, as a civilisation, need to kee accessible. This has led me to incorporate innovative and creative technical aspects to create solutions pressing problems while making science more accessible!
Won a $3000 grant for my project on accessibility technology!!
